Meet Boots and Azna our Sauna
Cats
This is
Boots! He has been using the sauna almost every day
for over eight years.
When we first started using our sauna he would lay
down in front of it, while we were inside. This went
on for a few months. One morning while one of us was
in the sauna, he decided he wanted in.
Now he saunas every day from 10 to 30 minutes. He
checks to see if the sauna is on, if not he will sit out
front of it and look at us, then the sauna or meeows
at us.
He has his own regiment now.
He will clean his fur in front of the sauna first.
After entering the sauna he will sit or lay down on
the floor in front of the heater and clean some more.
He then will stretch out and go to sleep for 10 to 30 minutes.
One has to keep in mind that we sauna at 150 degrees. That's
pretty hot!! When he wants out he will stand up and push
on the door.
Boots then goes out in front of the sauna and proceeds to enjoy
a long nap usually on his back!!!

Meet Azna.
Azna is a throw away kitty.
I say that because we found her at the dump almost starved to death.
She is a wonderful little spirit and has added so much to our family,
including being a great friend and companion to Boots.
Azna loves to get in the sauna and play with the towels as well as
her tail. Which Boots does not care for. He takes his sauna time serious
and gets offended when Azna gets in the sauna before him, or wants to play.
Boots must have a towel to lay on and he likes the floor. Whereas
Azna does not want anything to lay on and likes to get up on the bench.
Azna waits like Boots in the morning to get in the sauna. Most of the time she
only stays in for ten minutes. When she is finished she gets out and like Boots
she stretches out on the floor.
